iPad repair by location
Apple typically refuses iPad repair and treats them as sealed units. We do component-level work — board-mounted USB-C and Lightning ports, swollen battery replacement, digitiser-only swaps that don't break the LCD. As far as we know, we are the only repair workshop in the Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, Burscough, Preston and Liverpool fringe area offering board-level iPad charging port repair.

Common questions
Do I need to book in advance, or can I just drive over?
Booking is recommended but not required. A quick message with your model and the fault means we can confirm the part is in stock before you set off — saves a wasted trip if it's a less common part. Walk-ins are welcome when we're open and not mid-repair on something time-sensitive.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday 9:30am-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 3pm-7pm. The afternoon weekend hours are deliberate — most weekend customers are people who broke their phone Friday night.
Do you cover anywhere outside the towns listed?
We see customers from a wider area than the dedicated pages cover — Crosby, Hightown, Aughton, Halsall, Lathom, Hesketh Bank, Mere Brow, Holmeswood and further out. If the drive is realistic for a same-day repair, we'll do the job. Send a message with your postcode and model and we'll let you know.
Do you offer trade or wholesale rates for other repair shops?
Yes. Several local repair shops send their tougher iPad and iPhone jobs to us — board-level charging ports, complex micro-soldering, anything they don't have the tools for. See the Trade page for details.

The 5 towns above are where we see the most regular traffic, but we cover anywhere within a reasonable drive of Banks. Southport itself, of course, plus Crosby, Hightown, Aughton, Halsall, Lathom, Hesketh Bank, Mere Brow and Holmeswood are all within range — click through to the nearest covered town for drive times and pricing.
